Munich is the capital of Bavaria and the third largest city in Germany and the most visited place in Germany after Berlin. Many come to Munich for the beer, the Oktoberfest, the Hofbräuhaus or the white sausages. Others come because of the world-famous museums such as the German Museum, the three art galleries, the House of Art or the Glyptothek.
Architecture fans will love the old town, the Frauenkirche, the town hall and the residence, for example. Sports fans can take a look at the Olympic Park or the famous Allianz Arena football stadium. Others love the almost southern flair of Munich or the Schwabing scene with the famous Leopoldstrasse and the largest university in Germany.
Munich has many large green spaces (especially the Englischer Garten park) and supposedly fewer social problems and poverty than e.g. B. Berlin, the Ruhr area or Frankfurt. The location of the city, especially the nearby Alps, the many lakes and the short way to Italy, is very attractive.
All this has shaped the many clichés: Munich is considered the "secret capital of Germany", "the largest village in the world", "the world city with a heart", "the beer capital of the world" or "the northernmost city on the Mediterranean".
In addition to all that, there will be a Stars of Tomorrow Master Class for the dancers.
